Responsibilities

Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner. Take accurate food and beverage orders using the Micros POS system. Provide detailed menu information, including daily specials and upselling opportunities. Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to tables while maintaining high standards of presentation. Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, adhering to sanitation standards. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and address any guest concerns promptly. Assist with food preparation as needed, ensuring adherence to food safety guidelines. Manage time effectively to balance multiple tables while providing attentive guest services.

Requirements

Previous experience in the food service or restaurant industry is preferred. Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction. Knowledge of food handling, safety, and sanitation practices. Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing. Ability to operate POS systems, specifically Micros POS is a plus. Excellent time management skills to handle busy shifts efficiently. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
