Duties

Greet and seat guests promptly, providing them with menus and information about daily specials. Take accurate food and drink orders using the POS system, specifically Micros POS, ensuring all requests are communicated effectively to the kitchen staff. Serve food and beverages in a timely manner, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards. Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales. Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change as necessary. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including tables, utensils, and condiments. Assist with food preparation when needed, ensuring all dishes meet quality standards before serving. Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during busy periods while maintaining attention to detail. Address guest inquiries or concerns with professionalism and courtesy, ensuring a positive dining experience.

Qualifications

Previous restaurant experience preferred, with a strong understanding of food service operations. Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is advantageous. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction. Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated. Experience in kitchen operations is beneficial but not required. Pay: $17.60 per hour
