Duties
Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements to optimize flow and guest experience
Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring clarity and attention to detail
Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
Upsell menu items, specials, and beverages to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
Manage multiple tables efficiently through excellent time management skills, ensuring timely service for all guests
Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties, while maintaining accountability
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure food is prepared correctly and delivered promptly in a fine dining or casual setting
Provide outstanding guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns swiftly, and creating a welcoming atmosphere
Assist with food handling, basic math calculations for bills, and support host/host duties when needed
Skills
Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments with a focus on guest satisfaction
Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable for order processing and cashiering
Strong knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
Excellent communication skills to engage guests confidently and professionally
Ability to multitask effectively in fast-paced settings while maintaining attention to detail
Culinary experience or kitchen background is a plus for understanding food preparation processes
Demonstrated sales skills with an emphasis on upselling menu items to enhance revenue opportunities
Experience working in fine dining establishments or nightclubs is advantageous but not required
Basic math skills for accurate bill calculation, cash handling, and inventory management
Knowledge of hospitality principles including guest services, guest relations, and food industry standards
