Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and attentive Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional guest service, ensure food safety and sanitation standards are maintained, and contribute to a welcoming dining experience. This role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, handling transactions, and upselling menu items to enhance guest satisfaction. Previous restaurant or food industry experience is preferred, along with strong communication and time management skills. The Server will play a key role in creating a positive atmosphere for our guests while maintaining efficiency and professionalism throughout their shift.

Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Micros POS Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring presentation quality Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling duties Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with food safety regulations Assist with food preparation and kitchen support as needed Upsell menu items to maximize sales opportunities while enhancing guest satisfaction Manage multiple tables efficiently through effective time management skills Ensure guest needs are met promptly, addressing any concerns or special requests Follow all sanitation, health, and safety guidelines to uphold food safety standards Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations during each shift

Qualifications

Previous experience in food service or hospitality is highly desirable Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally Knowledge of food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures in the restaurant industry Basic math skills for cashiering and transaction accuracy Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Effective communication skills for guest interactions and teamwork Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
