We are seeking a friendly and efficient Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional guest service, take orders accurately, and ensure a memorable dining experience. This role involves working in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a passion for hospitality are essential. Prior experience in food service and familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS are highly valued. The Server will be responsible for managing guest interactions from seating to payment, maintaining food safety standards, and upselling menu items to enhance customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
Greet guests warmly and assist with seating arrangements
Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems like Micros POS
Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling duties
Upsell menu items to increase sales and enhance guest experience
Ensure food safety and sanitation protocols are followed at all times
Assist in food preparation or kitchen tasks as needed to support team operations
Manage time effectively during busy hours to serve multiple tables efficiently
Address guest inquiries or concerns professionally to ensure satisfaction
Maintain cleanliness of workstations, dining areas, and service stations
Experience
Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment preferred
Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus
Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
Knowledge of food handling, sanitation, and safety standards in the food industry
Ability to perform basic math for order entry and cashiering tasks
Experience with food preparation or kitchen operations is advantageous
Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours
Background in hospitality or serving roles that emphasize guest services and upselling techniques
