WE ARE LOOKING FOR A SERVER, our gelato store do not just slap gelato into a cup or cone. Gelato is a fun experience, a lesson in some history and Italian culture. We will train you. Essential requirements: experienced as server , love of desserts, talkative and friendly, knowledge of basic hygiene (valid food handlers card a BIG plus, but not essential, we'll help you get one), cash handling, some cleaning experience, the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Other requirements: speed; the ability to maintain a flexible schedule including Friday's and Weekend's and late nights; to remain on your feet for up to six or eight hours; strong wrists for gelato scooping; and occasionally to lift up to 50 lbs (about 25 kg). Knowledge of other languages, such as ,Italian, Spanish-- an asset but NOT an essential requirement.
