Responsibilities

Greet and seat guests promptly with a friendly demeanor. Take food and beverage orders accurately, ensuring all requests are noted. Provide recommendations and upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience. Serve food and beverages in a timely manner while adhering to food safety standards. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tables, utensils, and service areas. Assist in food preparation as needed, ensuring all dishes meet quality standards. Handle cash transactions and process payments accurately using basic math skills. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and address any guest concerns promptly. Uphold food safety regulations throughout the dining experience.

Qualifications

Previous experience in the food industry or food service is required. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently. Basic math skills for accurate order processing and payment handling. Knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations is a plus. Ability to sanitize work areas effectively to maintain health standards. Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service. A positive attitude and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
