Duties
Greet customers warmly and assist them with their orders, ensuring a positive dining experience.
Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and giving change.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the front end area, including dining spaces and food preparation zones.
Assist in food preparation tasks as needed, adhering to food safety guidelines.
Operate Point of Sale (POS) systems efficiently to manage orders and transactions.
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service and support during peak hours.
Manage time effectively to balance multiple tasks while maintaining quality service.
Skills
Proficient in cash handling with strong mathematical skills for accurate transaction processing.
Knowledge of food safety practices to ensure compliance with health regulations.
Experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
Ability to sanitize work areas and equipment regularly to maintain hygiene standards.
Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during busy periods.
Excellent communication skills to help foster a welcoming atmosphere for customers.
Familiarity with food preparation techniques is a plus.
