Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional guest service, ensure food safety and sanitation standards, and contribute to a welcoming dining experience. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. Previous restaurant or food industry experience is preferred but not required, as training will be provided.

Duties

Greet guests warmly and provide attentive service throughout their dining experience Take customer orders accurately using POS systems such as Micros POS Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining presentation standards Handle cash transactions and perform cashiering duties with accuracy and efficiency Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety standards are maintained at all times Assist in food preparation or kitchen tasks as needed to support smooth operations Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently during busy periods Maintain cleanliness of service areas, including tables, utensils, and service stations Respond promptly to guest inquiries or concerns to ensure a positive experience

Skills

Proficiency with POS systems such as Micros POS and basic math skills for cash handling and billing Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality and guest satisfaction Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures Experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly desirable Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail Excellent communication skills for interacting with guests and team members Basic understanding of food preparation and serving techniques Time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during peak hours Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed in the hospitality industry

This position is located in Millwoods, Edmonton. Preference to candidates living nearby or have their own vehicle to commute. All the candidates could be working beyond midnight as per store closing time. Shifts may vary some days opening and some days closing. Weekends availability to be required.

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
