Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and attentive Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional guest services, ensure food safety and sanitation standards are maintained, and create a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. This role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, and assisting guests with their dining experience. Prior experience in food service or hospitality is preferred, but we welcome motivated individuals eager to learn. The Server will utilize POS systems such as Micros POS to process orders efficiently and accurately. This position offers an opportunity to develop skills in customer service, food handling, and upselling within a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly and provide attentive guest services throughout their dining experience Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems like Micros POS Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring presentation standards are met Handle cash transactions accurately through cashiering functions and cash handling procedures Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tables, dining areas, and service stations in compliance with food safety standards Assist in food preparation or kitchen support as needed, adhering to proper food handling protocols Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently during busy periods Ensure guest satisfaction by addressing concerns promptly and professionally

Experience

Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is highly desirable Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members Knowledge of food safety, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures Basic math skills for processing payments, making change, and handling cash transactions accurately Experience in hospitality or the food industry is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate Ability to manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
