Responsibilities

Greet and welcome guests promptly with a friendly demeanor. Take accurate food and beverage orders using the POS system, preferably Micros POS. Serve food and drinks to guests in a timely manner while ensuring proper presentation and adherence to food safety standards. Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries, needs, and concerns effectively. Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the dining area, including tables, utensils, and service stations. Assist with food preparation as needed and ensure compliance with food handling guidelines. Process payments accurately through cashiering duties and handle cash responsibly. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow during busy periods. Demonstrate strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during peak hours.

Qualifications

Previous experience in the restaurant or food service industry is preferred. Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is an advantage. Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction. Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards is essential. Ability to perform basic math calculations for order processing and cash handling. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members. A positive attitude with the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Experience in serving, hospitality, or kitchen roles is beneficial but not mandatory.
