Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Server (Part or Full-time) to join our team. As a Server, you will play a key role in providing excellent customer service and enhancing the dining experience for our guests.

You foster a welcoming atmosphere for our guests through friendly, attentive, and efficient service, employing professional salesmanship to showcase Sang menu items via experiential-based interactions.

Timely fulfillment of guest-ordered products, water service, and detailed table maintenance. Use a commanding menu knowledge to make recommendations, educate, and answer questions from our guests (upsells based on experience-enhancing options tailored to each guest).

Maintains a high level of safety and sanitization and cleans the work area thoroughly at regular intervals. Assists in Host-related duties such as answering phone calls, making reservations, and greeting guests.

Responsibilities

- Greet and seat customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Present menus to customers and answer questions about menu items
- Take food and beverage orders accurately
- Deliver food and beverages to tables promptly
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate order preparation
- Upsell additional products when appropriate
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues promptly
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas

Experience

- 1+ years of experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is considered an asset.

- Valid AGLC ProServe certification.- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage with guests effectively.

Requirements

- Basic math skills for order processing and bill calculations.

- Adaptable and coachable attitude.

- Hunger for knowledge specifically related to Korean cuisine.

- Great communication skills (using written and spoken English).

- Ability to meet the physical demands to lift/carry/push/pull/maneuver heavy objects (up to 40lbs) and constant standing/walking/reaching/lifting.
