Responsibilities

Greet and welcome guests with a friendly demeanor. Take accurate food and beverage orders using the POS system, preferably Micros POS. Provide detailed menu information, including daily specials and upselling opportunities. Ensure timely delivery of food and drinks to tables while maintaining high standards of service. Handle cash transactions and process payments efficiently. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the dining area, adhering to food safety guidelines. Assist with food preparation as needed, ensuring quality standards are met. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow. Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly to enhance their dining experience. Demonstrate effective time management skills during busy shifts.

Requirements

Previous restaurant experience preferred, with a strong understanding of food service operations. Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Micros POS is a plus. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction. Knowledge of food handling and safety practices in accordance with health regulations. Strong time management abilities to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours. Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and order processing. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated. A positive attitude and willingness to learn about menu items and restaurant offerings.
