We\xe2\x80\x99re looking for our next Event Servers!

, creators of Cluny Bistro, El Catrin, Pure Spirits Oyster House & Grill, Archeo Trattoria, Madrina Bar y Tapas, District Pizza and Distillery Events (the Fermenting Cellar and The Distillery District\xc2\xae- Loft) are seeking experienced Banquet Event Servers to bring our Distillery Events to life!

We are looking for Servers who have worked in Events/Banquets for at least one year to join our team of motivated Event professionals and create experiences that lead to happy, lasting memories for our guests.

Please note: You must already have legal permission to work in Canada to be considered for this role.

What you\xe2\x80\x99ll bring to the event:

• Anticipate guests\xe2\x80\x99 service needs by actively listening and responding positively to guests\xe2\x80\x99 questions, concerns and requests in an effort to resolve issues, delight and build trust
• Be knowledgeable of all food and beverage items in order to make recommendations
• Monitor food quality and presentation standards
• Be aware of any special requests, inclusive of guest allergies
• Complete opening, closing and side-duties efficiently and safely
• Communicate to all Managers any comments or information provided by guests to ensure a positive, memorable experience
• Lead team by example to exhibit, encourage and motivate DRC\xe2\x80\x99s Values & Beliefs
• Other duties as assigned

Our ideal candidates are:

• TEAM PLAYERS. You like helping others and have a passion for the work you do.
• EXPERIENCED. Minimum on (1) year of serving experience working in Banquet/Event environment.
• EDUCATED. You have a degree/diploma in Events/Hospitality and/or the equivalent in education and experience is an asset.
• CERTIFIED. You MUST be Ontario Smart Serve certified.
• PEOPLE PEOPLE! You\xe2\x80\x99re someone who possesses an affinity for superior guest service and takes the initiative to go beyond expectations
