Duties

Maintaining restaurant standards and perform service duties. Present menus and provide detailed information about food and beverage offerings. Take accurate orders and relay them to the kitchen staff using the POS system. Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring proper food handling and sanitation standards are met. Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, addressing any concerns or requests promptly. Process payments accurately, including cash handling and basic math for checks. Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and timely food preparation. Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, utensils, and condiments. Adhere to all food safety regulations and restaurant policies.

Skills

Proven experience in food service or restaurant settings is required. Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction. Excellent time management abilities to handle multiple tables efficiently. Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards. Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and check processing. Familiarity with POS systems. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members. Passion to expand food and beverage knowledge.

Pay: $16.50-$18.00 per hour
