Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a memorable dining experience for our guests. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. Your ability to manage time effectively and work collaboratively with kitchen staff will contribute to the overall success of our restaurant.

Responsibilities

Greet and seat guests in a friendly manner, ensuring they feel welcomed. Take accurate food and beverage orders using the POS system, specifically Micros POS. Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring quality and presentation standards are met. Provide knowledgeable recommendations to guests regarding menu items and upsell when appropriate. Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and basic math skills for processing payments. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the dining area, adhering to food safety standards. Assist with food preparation as needed, ensuring all items are prepared according to health regulations. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and address any guest concerns promptly. Uphold excellent guest services by responding to inquiries and resolving issues efficiently.

Skills

Previous restaurant experience in food service or hospitality is preferred. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests. Knowledge of food handling practices and sanitation standards in the food industry. Time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tables and orders simultaneously. Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and order processing. Experience with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is an advantage. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A positive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow within the team. Pay: $15.70-$17.78 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
