Overview

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional guest service, ensure food safety and sanitation standards are maintained, and contribute to a welcoming dining experience. Previous restaurant experience and familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS are preferred, but we are willing to train motivated individuals. This role offers an opportunity to develop skills in hospitality, food service, and customer relations within a fast-paced environment.

Duties

Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience Take accurate orders using POS systems like Micros POS and relay them efficiently to the kitchen Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining presentation standards Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures are followed at all times Assist with food preparation tasks as needed to support kitchen operations Maintain cleanliness of tables, service stations, and dining areas in accordance with sanitation standards Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently during busy periods Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly to ensure a positive dining experience

Requirements

Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor Ability to handle food safely and adhere to sanitation standards Basic math skills for billing and cash handling purposes Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume periods Knowledge of food industry standards, food safety, and serving etiquette is desirable Kitchen experience or food preparation skills are advantageous but not mandatory Ability to work efficiently in a team environment while maintaining attention to detail

Pay: $17.60-$18.18 per hour
