Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and attentive Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional guest services, ensure food safety and sanitation standards are maintained, and create a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. This role requires strong communication skills, the ability to manage multiple tables efficiently, and a passion for the food industry. Previous restaurant experience is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided to ensure you succeed in delivering outstanding service.

Duties

Take customer orders accurately using POS systems such as Micros POS Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining presentation standards Handle cash transactions and perform cashiering duties with attention to detail and accuracy Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities Ensure proper food handling and sanitation procedures are followed according to food safety regulations Assist in food preparation when necessary, supporting kitchen staff as needed Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently during busy hours Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, including table setup and sanitation practices Provide excellent guest services by addressing customer needs promptly and courteously Support team members in delivering a seamless dining experience from seating to checkout

Skills

Proficiency with POS systems, especially Micros POS, for order entry and cash handling Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures Experience in food service or restaurant environments preferred but not required Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting with excellent time management skills Basic math skills for accurate bill calculation and cash transactions Familiarity with food industry standards, serving etiquette, and hospitality practices Good communication skills to interact professionally with guests and team members Ability to upsell menu items confidently to enhance guest experience and sales potential

Pay: $17.60-$18.17 per hour
