Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional guest experiences through attentive service, food and beverage knowledge, and a positive attitude. This role involves engaging with guests, taking orders, serving food and drinks, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Prior experience in food service or hospitality is preferred, along with strong communication and multitasking skills. The Server will play a vital role in maintaining high standards of food safety, sanitation, and guest satisfaction.

Duties

Greet guests warmly and provide attentive customer service throughout their visit Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Micros POS, ensuring proper entry and communication with kitchen staff Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining presentation standards Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling responsibilities Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and adherence to food safety regulations Assist in food preparation or kitchen duties as needed to support team operations Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently during busy periods Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, tables, and service stations Address guest inquiries or concerns professionally to ensure satisfaction Prep Cleaning /sweeping/moping

Experience

Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly desirable Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices in the food industry Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively Basic math skills for handling bills, making change, and processing payments accurately Experience in serving, upselling, cashiering, and guest services is preferred Kitchen experience or food preparation knowledge is a plus but not required Ability to manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.20-$17.40 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 15 per week

Work Location: In person
