Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and attentive Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional guest services, ensure food safety and sanitation standards are met, and create a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. This role requires strong communication skills, efficient time management, and a passion for the food industry. Previous restaurant experience is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided to ensure you excel in your responsibilities.

Duties

Greet guests warmly and provide attentive service throughout their dining experience Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Micros POS Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards Handle cash and process payments accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures are followed at all times Assist in food preparation or kitchen support as needed to ensure smooth operations Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations in accordance with sanitation standards Manage multiple tables efficiently through effective time management skills Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly to ensure a positive dining experience

Experience

Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly desirable Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms Knowledge of food safety regulations, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques Experience in guest services, hospitality, or customer service roles Basic math skills for cashiering and bill splitting purposes Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining excellent service standards Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor to foster guest satisfaction

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $17.20 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 25 per week
