Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hospitality and a commitment to providing exceptional service to our guests. As a Server, you will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring that each guest has a memorable dining experience.

Duties

Greet and welcome guests in a friendly manner, providing menus and answering any initial questions. Take accurate food and beverage orders using the POS system. Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring proper presentation and adherence to food safety standards. Assist with food preparation as needed, ensuring all items are sanitized and prepared according to health regulations. Upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience and increase sales. Monitor tables for guest satisfaction, promptly addressing any concerns or requests. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and quality of food. Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including sanitizing tables, utensils, and other surfaces as required. Manage time effectively during busy shifts to ensure efficient service.

Skills

Strong knowledge of hospitality principles and practices. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in sanitation. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during peak hours. Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately. Experience with POS systems for order processing is preferred but not required. Ability to upsell menu items confidently while maintaining a positive rapport with guests. Hours are Wed , Thurs , Friday and every Saturday. ( not for students returning to school as we need WED, THUR, FRIDAY in fall abs SAT)

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00-$18.50 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 35 per week
