Job Summary

We are a new restaurant looking for enthusiastic and skilled server to join our dynamic team. Must be available for Friday and Saturday evening shifts. We are a BBQ smokehouse focusing on slow cooked meats, classic side dishes and crafted cocktails. Our passion is food and a great atmosphere for both our team and guests. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional hospitality and creating memorable experiences for our guests. As a Server, you will be responsible for serving and welcoming guests, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere, being a team player, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization.

Duties

Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking drink and food orders, and delivering food & drinks promptly. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front of house area, including washing glassware, cleaning surfaces, restocking supplies as needed, sweeping and mopping Handle cash transactions accurately, process payments, and manage tabs for customers. Monitor guest consumption of alcohol to ensure responsible service in compliance with local laws and regulations. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food orders when applicable. Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards while handling food and beverages.

Skills

Strong hospitality skills with a focus on customer service excellence. Proficient in basic math for handling cash transactions and making change. Knowledge of food handling practices to ensure safety and quality in beverage preparation. Experience in food service or the food industry is preferred but not required. Familiarity with cash handling procedures and cashiering systems. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.50-$19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 12 - 18 per week
