Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills, a passion for the food industry, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. As a Server, you will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience.

Responsibilities

Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner. Take accurate food and beverage orders using the POS system, preferably Micros POS. Provide detailed information about menu items, including daily specials and upselling opportunities. Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to tables while maintaining high standards of presentation. Monitor guest needs throughout their meal, providing attentive service to enhance their experience. Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and managing cash handling procedures. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the dining area and assist with food preparation as needed. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and address any guest concerns promptly. Adhere to all food safety guidelines and regulations to ensure the health and safety of our guests.

Qualifications

Previous restaurant experience preferred, with a strong understanding of food service operations. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction. Time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tables and tasks simultaneously. Basic math skills for accurate order processing and cash handling. Knowledge of food handling practices and sanitation standards in the kitchen environment. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced setting while maintaining professionalism. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with guests and team members. A passion for hospitality and providing memorable dining experiences is essential.
