Overview

We are seeking a friendly, attentive Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will excel in providing exceptional guest services, ensuring a memorable dining experience for all patrons. This role requires strong communication skills, a passion for food service, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Prior experience in the food industry and familiarity with POS systems are highly valued. The Server will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and welcoming atmosphere for guests.

Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly and provide attentive customer service throughout their visit Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Micros POS Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring presentation standards are met Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling duties Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tables, service stations, and dining areas in compliance with food safety standards Assist with food preparation or kitchen support as needed to ensure smooth operations Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently during busy periods Ensure guest satisfaction by addressing concerns promptly and professionally Follow all sanitation, health, and safety regulations related to food handling and service

Experience

Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; training will be provided Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on hospitality and guest relations Basic math skills for handling bills, payments, and making change accurately Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures Experience with food industry operations including serving, cashiering, and upselling techniques is advantageous Ability to multitask effectively while maintaining a positive attitude in a fast-paced setting

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $17.85-$19.00 per hour
