Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for providing exceptional customer service, ensuring that every guest has a memorable dining experience. As a Server, you will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and welcoming atmosphere.

Duties

Greet and seat guests in a friendly manner, ensuring they feel welcomed Take accurate food and drink orders using the POS system, specifically Micros POS Serve food and beverages promptly while adhering to food safety and sanitation standards Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and basic math skills for processing payments Maintain cleanliness of tables, service areas, and dining room throughout shifts Assist with food preparation as needed, ensuring all items meet quality standards Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction

Skills

Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction Experience in food service or the food industry is preferred Knowledge of food handling and safety regulations Time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tables and tasks simultaneously Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and order processing Familiarity with sanitation practices in a restaurant setting Previous restaurant experience is advantageous but not required Ability to work as part of a team while also being self-motivated Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with guests and staff
