Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will excel in providing exceptional guest services, ensuring a memorable dining experience. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tables while maintaining a positive attitude. Previous experience in food service and familiarity with POS systems are highly valued.

Duties

Greet guests warmly and provide attentive service throughout their dining experience Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Micros POS Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring presentation standards are met Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling responsibilities Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tables, utensils, and service areas in compliance with food safety standards Assist in food preparation or kitchen support as needed, adhering to sanitation and food handling protocols Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently during busy periods Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly to ensure excellent customer service and guest satisfaction

Experience

Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments preferred but not required Familiarity with POS systems, especially Micros POS, is a plus Strong understanding of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures Experience in hospitality or guest services roles is advantageous Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and billing accurately Knowledge of food industry standards, serving techniques, and upselling strategies is beneficial Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a friendly demeanor and excellent customer service skills
