Duties

Greet guests warmly, provide menus, and explain daily specials to enhance their dining experience Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery Upsell menu items and beverages to maximize sales while recommending popular or new offerings through OpenTable or direct suggestions Serve food and drinks efficiently, ensuring proper presentation and adherence to food safety standards Clear tables promptly by bussing dishes, resetting for new guests, and maintaining cleanliness throughout the shift Assist with food preparation or kitchen support when necessary to ensure smooth service flow Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities, while maintaining accountability

Experience

Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts with multiple tables or sections Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality excellence Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms Knowledge of food handling, sanitation protocols, and food safety regulations to ensure compliance at all times Experience with upselling techniques and sales-driven approaches to enhance guest satisfaction and revenue Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays in fast-paced environments
