We are seeking a friendly and attentive Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service, taking orders accurately, and ensuring a memorable dining experience. This role requires a positive attitude, strong communication skills, and a passion for hospitality. Prior experience in food service and familiarity with POS systems are preferred but not mandatory, as training will be provided. The Server will play a vital role in maintaining sanitation standards and supporting the overall operation of the restaurant.
Duties
Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm
Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Micros POS
Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring quality standards are met
Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales
Handle cash transactions accurately and perform cashiering duties
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tables, utensils, and service areas in compliance with food safety standards
Assist in food preparation or kitchen support as needed
Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently during busy periods
Provide excellent guest services by addressing questions, special requests, and resolving issues promptly
Follow all sanitation and safety protocols to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff
Requirements
Previous experience in food service or restaurant industry is preferred but not required; training will be provided for those new to serving roles
Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus
Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
Good time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently
Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and bill calculations
Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed in the hospitality industry
Kitchen experience or food preparation skills are advantageous but not mandatory
