Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional guest service, ensure food safety and sanitation standards are maintained, and contribute to a welcoming dining experience. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tables efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

Greet guests warmly and provide attentive customer service throughout their dining experience Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems, including Micros POS if available Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards Handle cash transactions accurately and perform cashiering duties as needed Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures are followed at all times Assist in food preparation or kitchen tasks when necessary to support team operations Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, tables, and service stations in compliance with sanitation standards Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently during busy periods Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly to ensure a positive experience

Qualifications

Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment preferred but not required Knowledge of POS systems, especially Micros POS, is a plus Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction Basic math skills for cash handling and billing accuracy Understanding of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Hospitality experience or background in the food industry is advantageous Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks during busy hours Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
