Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and attentive Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional guest service, ensure food safety and sanitation standards, and create a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. This role requires a positive attitude, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tables efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems, including Micros POS Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining quality standards Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales Handle cash transactions accurately and perform cashiering duties Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures are followed at all times Assist with food preparation or kitchen tasks as needed Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently during busy hours Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction Follow all restaurant policies regarding guest services and food industry regulations

Skills

Experience with POS systems, especially Micros POS, is preferred Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality and guest satisfaction Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures Previous restaurant or food industry experience is advantageous Excellent time management and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced setting Basic math skills for cash handling and billing accuracy Effective communication skills to coordinate with kitchen staff and guests Ability to upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and restaurant revenue Familiarity with food preparation, serving techniques, and guest services standards
