We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Server to join our team in providing exceptional dining experiences to our guests. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction by delivering high-quality service, taking orders, and providing menu recommendations. Your ability to manage time effectively and create a welcoming atmosphere will contribute significantly to our restaurant's success.

Duties

Greet and seat guests promptly, ensuring they feel welcomed and valued. Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently using the POS system, preferably Micros POS. Serve food and drinks in a timely manner while adhering to food safety and sanitation standards. Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and maximize sales. Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate cash handling practices. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth communication regarding orders and special requests. Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations. Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally to ensure satisfaction. Assist with food preparation as needed, adhering to food handling guidelines.

Skills

Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction. Time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy periods. Experience in the food industry or restaurant environment is preferred. Familiarity with food safety regulations and sanitation practices. Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism. Knowledge of food preparation techniques is a plus.
