Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and attentive Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will excel in providing exceptional guest services, ensuring a memorable dining experience for all patrons. Prior experience in food service and familiarity with restaurant POS systems are highly valued.

Duties

Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Micros POS Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling responsibilities Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and food safety procedures are followed at all times Assist with setting up tables, cleaning dining areas, and maintaining sanitation standards Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders Address guest inquiries professionally, providing excellent guest services and support

Requirements

Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment preferred Knowledge of POS systems, especially Micros POS, is a plus Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor Basic math skills for cashiering and handling transactions accurately Understanding of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed Kitchen experience or hospitality background is advantageous but not required
