As a Server, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality dining experiences to our guests while ensuring their needs are met promptly and efficiently.

Responsibilities

Greet and seat guests in a friendly manner, providing menus and information about daily specials. Take accurate food and beverage orders using the POS system, specifically Micros POS, ensuring all details are captured correctly. Provide recommendations and upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience. Serve food and beverages in a timely manner while adhering to food safety and sanitation standards. Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and managing cash handling procedures. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery. Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, utensils, and overall restaurant sanitation. Address guest inquiries or concerns with professionalism and courtesy, ensuring satisfaction throughout their visit. Assist in training new staff members as needed, sharing knowledge of food handling and service techniques.

Experience

Previous experience in the food service industry is preferred, with a strong background in restaurant operations. Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is highly desirable. Demonstrated time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tables and guest requests simultaneously. Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards is essential for maintaining a safe dining environment. Strong customer service skills with an ability to engage positively with guests and provide excellent guest services. Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and managing cash handling responsibilities.
