We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and a strong understanding of food safety and handling practices. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in creating memorable dining experiences for our guests by delivering high-quality service and ensuring their needs are met promptly and efficiently.

Duties

Greet and welcome guests with a friendly demeanor, ensuring they feel valued and comfortable. Take accurate food and beverage orders using the POS system, specifically Micros POS, to process transactions efficiently. Provide detailed menu information, including daily specials, to assist guests in making informed choices. Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales. Deliver food and beverages to tables in a timely manner while adhering to sanitation standards. Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, addressing any concerns or requests promptly. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders. Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations. Handle cash transactions accurately, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed. Assist with food preparation as needed while adhering to food safety guidelines.

Requirements

Previous experience in the restaurant industry is preferred, with a strong understanding of food service operations. Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is highly desirable. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests. Knowledge of food handling practices and sanitation standards is essential for maintaining a safe dining environment. Basic math skills for accurate order processing and cash handling. Ability to work as part of a team while also being self-motivated during shifts. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required by the restaurant's schedule.
