We are seeking a friendly and efficient Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional guest services, ensure food safety and sanitation standards are met, and contribute to a welcoming dining experience. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Previous restaurant or food industry experience is preferred but not mandatory, as training will be provided. The Server will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, handling payments, and upselling menu items to enhance guest satisfaction.
Duties
Greet guests warmly and provide attentive customer service throughout their dining experience
Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Micros POS, ensuring correct entry and timely delivery
Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining presentation standards
Handle cash transactions accurately through cashiering procedures and cash handling protocols
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tables, utensils, and service areas in compliance with food safety standards
Assist in food preparation or kitchen support as needed to ensure smooth operations
Upsell menu items to increase sales and enhance guest satisfaction
Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables promptly during busy hours
Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations diligently
Provide guest services that promote a positive dining environment, including addressing guest inquiries or concerns
Qualifications
Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required; training will be provided for those new to the industry
Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus
Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently during peak hours
Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
Knowledge of food handling, sanitation practices, and food safety regulations
Basic math skills for order entry, bill calculation, and cash handling
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate loads as needed in a fast-paced environment
Experience with food preparation or kitchen support is advantageous but not mandatory
A team-oriented attitude with the ability to work collaboratively in a busy restaurant setting
