Dixon's General Store & Cafe is seeking friendly, reliable, and customer-focused Servers to join our team. As a Server, you will play an essential role in creating a welcoming and enjoyable dining experience by providing attentive, efficient, and professional service to our guests.

Key Responsibilities

Greet and seat guests in a warm, friendly, and professional manner Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently Deliver food and drinks promptly while ensuring presentation and quality Provide exceptional customer service and ensure guest satisfaction throughout their visit Answer menu questions and make thoughtful recommendations Assist with basic food preparation and proper food handling as required Clear tables and maintain a clean, organized dining area Process payments and handle cash and card transactions accurately Work collaboratively with kitchen and cafe staff to ensure smooth service

Qualifications & Skills

Strong hospitality and guest service skills Basic knowledge of food service procedures and restaurant etiquette Understanding of food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment Basic math skills for order accuracy and payment processing Helpful, positive attitude and a team-oriented mindset Previous restaurant or cafe experience is an asset

Required Certifications

Valid Smart Serve certification (mandatory)

Valid Food Handler Certificate (mandatory)
