Overview

We are seeking a friendly and attentive Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional guest services, ensure food safety and sanitation standards, and contribute to a welcoming dining experience. Prior restaurant or food industry experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate. Duties

Take customer orders accurately using POS systems such as Micros POS and process transactions with cash handling skills. Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation. Assist guests with menu selections, upselling specials or additional items to enhance their dining experience. Ensure tables are clean and set appropriately for new guests, adhering to sanitation standards. Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently during busy periods. Handle guest inquiries, resolve issues professionally, and ensure overall guest satisfaction. Support kitchen staff with basic food preparation when needed and maintain cleanliness in service areas. Follow all food handling, safety regulations, and restaurant policies to uphold the highest standards of hospitality.

Skills

Experience with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is highly desirable. Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor. Excellent time management abilities to handle multiple tables efficiently. Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures. Basic math skills for cashiering and billing purposes. Ability to perform food service tasks including serving, upselling, and cash handling accurately. Previous restaurant or food industry experience is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for motivated individuals. Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude are essential for providing guest services in a fast-paced environment.
