Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and a strong understanding of food safety and sanitation practices. As a Server, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests, taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring an enjoyable dining experience.

Duties

Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner. Take accurate food and beverage orders using the POS system, preferably Micros POS. Provide menu recommendations and upsell items to enhance the guest experience. Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring presentation meets restaurant standards. Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including tables, utensils, and condiments. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery. Adhere to all food safety guidelines and sanitation standards throughout service. Respond to guest inquiries or concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction. Assist with other restaurant duties as needed, including food handling and preparation.

Requirements

Previous experience in the food service or restaurant industry is preferred. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately. Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation protocols is essential. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is advantageous but not mandatory. Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude are essential for success in this role.
