As a Server, you will be responsible for providing attentive service, ensuring guest satisfaction, and maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation.

Responsibilities

Greet and seat guests promptly, presenting menus and providing information about daily specials. Take accurate food and beverage orders using the POS system, specifically Micros POS, ensuring all requests are communicated clearly to the kitchen staff. Serve food and beverages in a timely manner while adhering to proper food handling and safety guidelines. Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales. Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change as needed. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including tables, utensils, and condiments. Assist with food preparation as necessary, ensuring that all items meet quality standards before serving. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow during peak hours. Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction and repeat business. Follow sanitation protocols to maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Qualifications

Previous experience in the restaurant industry or food service is preferred. Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction. Excellent time management abilities to handle multiple tasks efficiently. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately. Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards is essential. Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is an advantage. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with guests and team members.
