Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and a strong understanding of food service operations. As a Server, you will be responsible for ensuring that guests have a memorable dining experience by delivering high-quality service and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.

Responsibilities

Greet and seat guests in a friendly and timely manner. Take accurate food and beverage orders using the POS system, preferably Micros POS. Provide detailed information about menu items, including daily specials and promotions, while effectively upselling when appropriate. Ensure proper food handling and sanitation practices are followed at all times. Deliver food and beverages to tables promptly, ensuring accuracy in orders. Manage time effectively to balance multiple tables while maintaining high levels of guest satisfaction. Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change as needed. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery. Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally to enhance their dining experience. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests.

Experience

Previous experience in the food industry or restaurant setting is preferred. Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with guests. Familiarity with food safety standards and sanitation practices is essential. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and processing payments efficiently. Experience with food preparation and kitchen operations is a plus. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
