We are seeking a friendly and professional Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional guest service, ensure food safety and sanitation standards, and create a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. This role requires excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Previous restaurant experience and familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS are highly valued. The Server will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, handling cash transactions, and upselling menu items to enhance guest satisfaction.
Duties
Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems like Micros POS
Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards
Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately, including cashiering duties
Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are consistently maintained in accordance with health regulations
Assist in food preparation or kitchen support as needed to ensure smooth operations
Upsell menu items to maximize sales opportunities and enhance guest experience
Manage time efficiently to serve multiple tables effectively during busy periods
Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction
Maintain cleanliness of service areas, tables, and dining spaces
Skills
Proven experience in food service or hospitality roles, with knowledge of the food industry standards
Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS for order entry and payment processing
Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously
Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of food handling, sanitation, and safety protocols
Basic math skills for accurate bill calculation and cash handling
Ability to upsell menu items confidently to increase sales opportunities
Experience with food preparation or kitchen support is a plus
Effective communication skills for coordinating with kitchen staff and interacting with guests
