Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and attentive Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will excel in providing exceptional guest service, ensuring a memorable dining experience for all patrons. This role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. Prior experience in food service or hospitality is preferred, along with familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS. Strong communication skills, time management, and a positive attitude are essential to succeed in this role.

Duties

Greet guests warmly and provide attentive guest services throughout their dining experience Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems, including Micros POS Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring presentation standards are met Handle cash transactions accurately through cashiering and cash handling procedures Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tables, service stations, and dining areas in accordance with food safety standards Assist in food preparation or kitchen tasks as needed to support overall restaurant operations Ensure adherence to food handling, sanitation, and safety protocols at all times Manage multiple tables efficiently through effective time management skills Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction

Experience

Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment preferred but not required; training will be provided Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is advantageous Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and billing accurately Knowledge of food safety, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures Experience in guest services, hospitality, or serving roles is highly desirable Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining excellent customer service standards Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude are essential for success in this role
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.20-$17.60 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 30 per week
