Responsibilities

Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner. Follow the Cora standards and the steps of service Take accurate food and beverage orders using the POS system, ensuring timely entry and communication with the kitchen staff. Provide detailed menu information to guests, including daily specials, and assist with upselling items to enhance guest experience. Serve food and beverages promptly while adhering to food safety standards and sanitation protocols. Manage guest requests efficiently, ensuring all needs are met in a timely manner. Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change as needed. Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and timely delivery of orders. Assist in food preparation as needed, ensuring adherence to food handling guidelines. Foster a positive dining atmosphere by engaging with guests and addressing any concerns promptly.

Experience

Previous experience in the food service industry is preferred, with a focus on restaurant experience. Familiarity with POS systems. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours. Excellent customer service skills with an emphasis on guest satisfaction. Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately and efficiently. Knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation practices is essential. Experience in hospitality roles that involve serving or guest services will be beneficial.
