Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Banquet Server to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional guest services and a strong background in the food industry. As a Banquet Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our events run smoothly and that our guests enjoy a memorable dining experience. Your responsibilities will include serving food and beverages, maintaining cleanliness, and assisting with various banquet functions.

Responsibilities

Set up banquet rooms according to event specifications, including table settings and decorations. Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely and professional manner. Assist with the bussing of tables, ensuring cleanliness and organization throughout the event. Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and ensuring satisfaction. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure proper food handling and presentation. Maintain knowledge of menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods, to assist guests effectively. Follow all food safety guidelines and regulations during food preparation and service. Assist with the breakdown of events, including cleaning up dining areas and returning equipment to storage.

Experience

Previous experience in the food industry or hospitality sector is preferred. Culinary experience or banquet experience is highly desirable. Strong guest relations skills with an emphasis on customer service excellence. Familiarity with food handling practices and safety regulations. Experience in catering or restaurant environments is a plus. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented atmosphere while maintaining professionalism at all times. Pay: $15.00-$19.57 per hour
