Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our servers and ensuring an exceptional dining experience for our guests. This position involves various tasks that contribute to the overall efficiency of restaurant operations, including assisting with food service, maintaining cleanliness, and providing outstanding customer service.

Duties

Assist servers in delivering food and beverages to guests promptly and accurately. Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, including tables, floors, and service stations. Help with food preparation tasks as needed, ensuring adherence to food safety standards. Support the kitchen staff with meal preparation and cooking when required. Operate the POS system for order entry and payment processing. Assist in cashiering duties, including cash handling and processing transactions. Provide excellent guest services by addressing customer inquiries and concerns promptly. Collaborate with team members to create a positive dining atmosphere for guests.

Skills

Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred. Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction. Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations. Familiarity with kitchen operations, including cooking and meal preparation techniques. Experience using POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is advantageous. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A background in hospitality or hotel services is a plus. Experience as a barista or in guest services can enhance your candidacy.
