Tapagria Tapas Restaurant

Tapagria is a vibrant Spanish restaurant in Markham, dedicated to providing guests with authentic Spanish tapas dishes and cocktails in a casual atmosphere. We value hospitality, quality, and a welcoming environment for both our guests and team members. We are looking for a server assistant to work alongside with our servers under the supervision of the restaurant manager.

Summary

We are seeking a friendly and attentive Server Assistant to join our team at Tapagria. In this role, you will support our servers and kitchen staff to ensure a smooth dining experience for our guests. Your contribution will help us create memorable moments for our guests in a lively and authentic setting.

Job Duties

- Welcoming guests and place orders

- Serving food and drinks in a professional manner

- Bus tables and maintain the restaurant area clean

- Communicate with the BOH staffs about dietary restrictions and customer needs

- Keeping service stations stocked with necessary items like silverware, napkins, bread, and condiments

- Assisting servers with additional tasks, communicating with the kitchen staff, and helping with opening and closing duties

- Helping with events and parties

- Reporting to servers or restaurant manager

- Ensuring all health and safety regulations are followed

- Polishing tablewares

Skills and Experience

- Familiar with the food and bar menu

- Familiar with POS system and OpenTable

- Customer service skills

- Able to work in a team under a fast-paced environment

- 1+ year experience in the Food and Beverage Industry/ restaurant

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.60 per hour
