Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server Assistant to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment, including HOLIDAYS. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our servers and ensuring that guests receive exceptional service. Training will be provided.

Interviews will be held in person, roughly 10 minutes. Those who passed the screening will receive a message including a sign up sheet. Thank you for applying to Kibo Sushi Humber.

Responsibilities

Maintaining cleanliness of dining areas, including tables, chairs, and floors, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for guests. Support kitchen staff with cleaning duties, including washing dishes. Help with food preparation tasks, including vegetable prep and assembling salad. Operate the POS for processing orders and payments efficiently. Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and needs promptly. Miscellaneous tasks may be asked such as organizing drinks, refilling utensils, sauces and so on.

Requirements

Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred, including restaurant experience. Strong communication skills with the ability to interact positively with guests and team members. Experience with POS systems is a plus. Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed. We are specifically seeking someone available for Christmas Eve, Christmas, and/or New Years.
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $17.20 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 16 per week
