Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Server Assistant to support our restaurant team in delivering exceptional guest experiences. The ideal candidate will assist with food and beverage service, maintain cleanliness, and ensure smooth operations in a fast-paced hospitality environment. This role offers an opportunity to develop skills in food service, customer interaction, and hospitality operations, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere for our guests.

Responsibilities

Assist servers by delivering food and beverages promptly and accurately to guests Set up and clear tables, ensuring a clean and organized dining area Support food preparation tasks as needed, including basic meal assembly and garnishing Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, kitchen stations, and service equipment in compliance with food safety standards Handle guest inquiries courteously and provide excellent customer service Operate POS systems such as Micros POS for order processing and payments Restock supplies and assist with inventory management Follow proper food handling and safety procedures at all times Support barista duties if applicable, including preparing beverages and maintaining bar area cleanliness Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient restaurant operations

Qualifications

Prior experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments is preferred but not required Knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling procedures Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team Basic familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms Experience with serving, food preparation, cashiering, or kitchen support is advantageous Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting or carrying supplies up to 40 pounds Excellent guest service skills with a friendly attitude and attention to detail Previous hotel or barista experience is a plus but not mandatory Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends if needed

Pay: From $17.85 per hour

Expected hours: 7 - 14 per week
