We are seeking a motivated and friendly Server Assistant to join our dynamic hospitality team. This role is essential in supporting the serving staff and ensuring an exceptional guest experience. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service, excellent communication skills, and a strong commitment to food safety and guest satisfaction. Previous restaurant, banquet, or hotel experience is a plus, but we are willing to train motivated individuals eager to grow within the hospitality industry.
Responsibilities
Assist servers by bussing tables, refilling water, and delivering food and beverages to guests efficiently
Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, including clearing and resetting tables in a timely manner
Support food preparation and presentation as needed, ensuring adherence to food safety standards
Handle food safely and responsibly during service, including proper handling of dishes and utensils
Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing and payments
Assist with setup and breakdown of banquet events or special functions
Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow
Provide excellent guest services by responding promptly to guest needs and inquiries
Uphold cleanliness standards in the kitchen and dining areas, supporting overall food safety protocols
Qualifications
Previous experience in food service, restaurant, banquet, or hotel environments is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates
Knowledge of food handling, safety procedures, and basic food preparation techniques
Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively within a team
Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Customer service-oriented mindset with a friendly and professional demeanor
Experience with culinary or kitchen operations is advantageous but not mandatory
Commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and guest satisfaction
