Armando's Amherstburg is looking for dedicated and enthusiastic Servers to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that guests have an enjoyable dining experience. As a Server, you will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and welcoming atmosphere.

Responsibilities

Greet and seat guests promptly with a friendly demeanour. Take accurate food and drink orders using the POS system, Deliver food and beverages to tables in a timely manner while ensuring guest satisfaction. Provide knowledgeable recommendations on menu items and upsell specials to enhance the dining experience. Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the dining area and service stations. Assist with food preparation as needed while adhering to food safety guidelines. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and address any guest concerns promptly. Manage time effectively to ensure all guests receive prompt attention throughout their visit.

Experience

Previous experience in the food service or restaurant industry is preferred. Familiarity with food handling practices, sanitation standards, and food safety regulations is essential. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and processing payments accurately. Experience with cashiering duties is a plus. Time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently while maintaining quality service. Knowledge of hospitality practices and guest services will be beneficial.
